BEIJING, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- Wang Xiangxi, minister of emergency management, has been placed under disciplinary and supervisory investigation, an official statement said Saturday.
Wang is being investigated by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) of the Communist Party of China and the National Commission of Supervision (NCS) for suspected severe violations of disciplines and laws, the statement said. ■
