SYDNEY, April 7 (Xinhua) -- A 6.3-magnitude earthquake jolted Papua New Guinea on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The quake, which occurred at 0548 GMT, was centered 88 km southwest of Porgera, with a depth of 10.0 km, the USGS said.
